Biography

LOURDES M. PORTUS is a Professor of the College of Mass Communication, University of the Philippines, specializing in qualitative communication research. She has published books and several articles in local and international refereed journals. She currently serves as the Special Assistant to the President of the University of the Philippines (corresponding author: lmportus@up.edu.ph).
