Biography

KA-EUL YOO is a Ph.D. candidate at the Yonsei University in South Korea who will continue her program in the Literature Department at the University of California (UC) in Santa Cruz. Her primary focus is the way ethnic American writers have dealt with emblematic historical scenes constitutive of New World modernity and the US imperialism, especially the US Cold War politics in Asia/Pacific regions, through the lens of illness/disease and Disability Studies.
