Biography

Joseph Palis is an assistant professor at the Department of Geography at the University of the Philippines, Diliman. He is currently a co-editor of the Pivot Series of Palgrave-Macmillan focused on Geographies of Media. He teaches graduate classes in countercartographies, cultural geography, cinematic geographies/cartographic cinema and spatial humanities. He is a member of the American Association of Geographers and the Philippine Geographical Society (corresponding author: josephpalis@gmail.com).
