Biography

TAEYUN YU, a Korean, has completed BA in Film, cum laude at the College of Mass Communication, University of the Philippines (U.P.) (corresponding author: thisluckystrike@yahoo.com). His thesis is on sadomasochism in Korean cinema. He is also a member of the Society for Cinema and Media Studies and had participated in various international conferences on issues pertaining to Orientalism in media. Before studying in U.P., he took courses at the Hallym University in South Korea.
