Biography

JOHANN VLADIMIR JOSÉ ESPIRITU is a cultural studies scholar and professor of literature, art, and gender studies at De La Salle University Manila where he also obtained his PhD in Literature. He has also worked as editor, managing editor, and assistant editor for various journals and anthologies. He writes fiction and poetry, and he spends most of his non-academic time as a jazz and soul music performer (corresponding author: johannvladimir@gmail.com)
