Biography

Gloria Esguerra Melencio teaches History 1, Kasaysayan I, Philippine Institutions 10 and Exploring Gender and Sexuality at the University of the Philippines in Los Baños, Laguna. She also taught History, Geography, Rizal Course and Philippine Government at the University of Santo Tomas and the National University. She finished her BA Philippine Studies (Major in History and Literature) and Master of Arts in History at the University of the Philippines-Diliman. She has been pursuing her PhD History also in UP at present (corresponding author: gemelencio@up.edu.ph).
