Biography

Resil B. Mojares is Professor Emeritus and former director of the Cebuano Studies Center. He is a prolific author on Philippine history and literature and the foremost scholar on Isabelo de los Reyes. He published Brains of the Nation: Pedro Paterno, T.H. Pardo de Tavera, Isabelo de Los Reyes and the Production of Modern Knowledge which dealt with life and works of de Los Reyes, among others. (corresponding author: mojares.resil@gmail.com).
