Biography

FREDDY YUSANTO (fredyusanto@telkomuniversity.ac.id) is a lecturer and researcher at the Faculty of Communication & Social Science, Telkom University, Indonesia. His main research focuses include Communication Science, Semiotics, Media Studies, and Popular Culture. He actively conducts an in-depth study of how identity and social values are constructed through visual works and advertising. Some of her recent publications have explored the linkages between visual representation and the dynamics of cultural identity in the context of contemporary media. As an academic, he is committed to the development of communication science based on a critical interpretation of social phenomena.
