Biography

Ansar Suherman (ansar.suherman@umbuton.ac.id) is an associate professor in the Department of Communication Studies at Universitas Muhammadiyah Buton, Indonesia. He earned his Doctorate in Communication Science, focusing on journalism and communication studies. Currently engaged in teaching and research, he explores the evolving role of media in society, especially the impact of digital transformation on community dynamics in Indonesia. Actively involved in interdisciplinary research, he mentors students in developing critical perspectives and innovative communication strategies.
